    The Festival of the Sun
    Inti Raymi celebrations begin at the Court of Gold at dawn on the winter solstice and proceed to Plaza de Armas. People are just beginning to arrive in front of the Jesuit church to wait for the procession. Over 500 people participate representing the Inca King, Queen, High Priests and subjects from the 4 regions of the empire.
