To be just as stubborn as her brother, the Cumhaill had really got to get used to her not being so easy to boss around. The sound of her family arriving.. had her started in that direction before she saw something horrible! Eoghain there before her... his back turned with a Morna rushing at him... The scene moved in slow motion, a streak of silver and the man was upon Eoghain who now faced her...

The cry from her lips loud, bringing a war cry from a once gentle heart; "Go n-ithe an cat thú, is go n-ithe an diabhal an cat!" Her cloak flying as she ran full pace to the Ceanfine away from her family, rage in her mind. Her little dagger was not much defense but she had the element of suprise as her cry was not loud enough to be heard over the songs of war. Her movements over bloody earth soaking her skirt and her legs with those that had fallen. Even now, there was only this moment where she had to do this.

She flung herself upon the Morna, jumping up on his back and bringing her dagger across his throat, slicing deep and true as when she carved the kills her brothers brought home from the hunt. The sting of that sent in her nose and mouth, warm blood slipping over her hand as this man struggled to remove her and soon left nothing but a sickening gurgle.

She fell off the man with a suprised whimper, scrambling to hold the dagger as as crawled to Eoghain. She whispered softly, "Na... ye can na die.... Mo mhíle grá.." Her dagger dropped as she cut off her cloak and pressed it to his wound. Trying to stop the blood as tears find her eyes. "Nay... ye have ta stay... Brigid does na need ye as we do." Her eyes upon his face, horror over her expression. "Tá grá agam duit, damnaigh sé!... Do na be so stubborn as ta leave me now that ye know..."

(Go n-ithe an cat thú, is go n-ithe an diabhal an cat! = May the cat eat you, and may the devil eat the cat!)
(Mo mhíle grá = My thousand loves)
(Tá grá agam duit = I love you)
    (damnaigh sé = damn it!)
