There is a whole forest of Kleopatras all over ancient history. It was a very popular name due to it’s meaning, a father’s pride ( though there are other connotations to the Greek Kleon from which it is taken). The ubiquitous names, Kleopatra and Ptolemy make a study of the Ptolomaic dynasty difficult. Chances are that if you yelled Kleopatra in any Egyptian palace a whole gang of women would show up.
