Norway's first town, Kaupang in Vestfold, was Danish. This is one of the surprises in the exhibition of archaeologigal finds at Historical Museum in Oslo. The exhibition starts in week 33. 1200-years-old footprints, glas, pans, and cups are among the archaeological finds from the excavations of Kaupang, which the archaeologists think is founded by the Danish king Godtfred ca. 800.
