I like the table Vortigan. Discussing the subjects you mentioned such as Pangea would be interesting, one could include a discussion about Wegener and how he proved his theory of continental drift by using fossils etc. There is a lot of areas in evolution which are so fascinating to study, I think this could prove to be one of the most interesting places to visit. :)
I think a subject area one could also include is extinction/ and how it applies to us today. One of the big movies this year is going be about the application of perhaps another ice age. When climate/environmental changes occur we know this effects biological life as a whole we could as a topic we use the information from the past to relate it to possible future events.
If any one wants to look for any background reading for interest I haven't got any papers/book at hand at the moment but one of the most interesting evolutionary survivalists is the crocodile. I would do a google on them, they are very fascinating to read about especially if you want to find about an animal who has defied nature so many times.
