There was a flash of light and a portal emerged before her eyes. She stood there literally transfixed, thanking heavens that they let her come here at last.
This was exactly like in her dream.

The voices behind the portal, beautiful and mysterious alike, called her to jump through right now or be lost forever. Plucking up all her courage she did so and felt wonderfully floating through, as if her body weighed nothing. She felt like a bird on the wing, so unbelivably free of all bonds...it was a magical feeling, which, however eneded when her jounrey through the portal came to an end.

She fell flat on the ground and felt darkness overwhelming her. Se could still hear voices whispering around her but she could not make out the words, they came out as an unitelligible gibberish and weariness finally began to take over.

She lost all awareness of reality.
For how long, she had no idea.
The last thing she thought before losing consciousness was that she must have looked pretty silly lying there, eagle-spread face to the ground, among the mysterious travellers she had longed so much to see.
