Artifacts of the Chu State.

There were seven Warring States. The Chu was one of the major. Excavations in the region of their dominance have been profitable. One tomb pit provided the remains of 33 chariots.

Bronze work was well-developed. A three foot tall drum (musical instrument) was discovered, supported by bronze tiger and phoenix pedestals. Bianzhong bronze chimes, and many other musical instruments were also discovered, in excellent condition.
