IC-
I am, or rather was... Lucius Licinius Sempronius "Etruscas", a Tribune of the plebs in the Republic of Rome. *sighs*
However making consuls angry with an SCU in effect is certainly not advisable, especially when you're clients are Etruscans and the head count! The Etruscans were in Etruria and the head count would not take on armed soldiers! I died... but I went out with, ahh... a "bang", but it was fun! Now my shade has wandered here to interact and inform myself about my ancient ancestors!
RL- I'm Italian and I was born in Portoferraio on the island of Elba. I know this quote from memory lol!
"Insula inexhaustis chalybum generosa metallis."
Virgil (Aen. X. 174)
I got my degree in Ancient History from the university of Bologna, where I principally studied the Geography of the Ancient Mediterranean civilizations, I now live and work in Ancona on the "other side" of Italy and, I'm happy to say, continuing my reading and studies for my own personal interest. My interest in the Etruscans has always been present, but now that I am not so "regimented" by the courses offered by my old university, I can truly begin to find out more about these ancient people.
