I thought that I'd share what I've learned of the branch of Celts found in Briton.
It appears that their origins can be traced to the mountainous regions of the Balkans and Carpathians and there are theories that their roots can be further traced to an Indo-Aryan origin.
These people were a military aristocracy. Socially they possessed a very strict class system. They were brave, courageous and chivilrous. They spoke the Gallo-Brittonic language during the Roman period of their history.
Unfortunately, today most of what we know of their culture is through archaeological finds, or from the Roman perspective, as Celtic history was an oral tradition and not preserved in text.
