    What seems to be called "world music" tends to focus on music coming out of "third world" cultures, with a bit from other more "unusual" environs that migth not be "third world"; obviously Indian sitar music isn't a thing like Aussie digeridoo, but they all get lumped together in that category in our local record shops. Undoubtably a poor name.
