Yoga literally means Union with the Infinite Supreme Being. Yoga is the basis for the practice of a particular way of life in order to realize the Divine Self within. There are four paths available for an individual to follow in his/her life. Someone may choose a path for a particular period of time, or use a "mix" of the paths in his/her daily life, depending upon one's karma, nature, temperament and so on.

    These four paths are:

Karma Yoga (the path of right action or work - for dispassionate workers)
Jnana Yoga (the path of right knowledge - for right thinkers & intellectuals)
Raja Yoga (the path of meditation & psychic control - for comtemplators)
Bhakti yoga (the path of Love and Devotion - for emotional/devoted people)
