Xiuhmolpilli was the 52-year cycle of the Aztecs. This cycle was actually the combined cycles of a 365-day cycle and a 260 day cycle. The 365-day cycle was comprised of eighteen months of twenty days each, plus five extra, ill-omened days at the end of each year. Each day had a patron deity as follows (following the number of the day will be the name of the glyph and then the deity:
1.Cipactli (crocodile) - Toncatecuhtli
2.Ehecatl (wind) - Quetzalcoatl
3. Calli (house) - Tepeyolohtli
4.Cuetzpallin (lizard) - Huehuecoyotl
5. Coatl (serpent) - Chalchiuhtlicue
6.Miquiztli (death) - Tecciztecatl or Meztli
7.Mazatl (deer) - Tlaloc
8.Tochtli (rabbit) - Mayahuel
9.Atl (water) - Xiuhtecuhtli
10.Itzcuintli (dog) - Mictlantecuhtli
11.Ozomatli (monkey) - Xochipilli
12.Malinalli (grass) - Patecatl
13.Acatl (reed) - Tezcatlipoca or Itztlacoliuhqui
14.Ocelotl (jaguar) - Tlazolteotl
15.Cuauhtli (eagle) - Xipe Totec
16. Cozacuauhtli (vulture) - Itzpapalotl
17.Ollin (movement, earthquake) - Xolotl
18.Tecpatl (flint knife) - Tezcatlipoca or Chalchiuhtotolin
19.Quiahuitl (rain) - Tonatiuh or Chantico
20.Xochitl (flower) - Xochiquetzal
