    These are four of my very favourite traditional songs. I suppose you could guess that since I use them in my Serai (bitum) and in various posts that I do.

    There is no date for these songs... they are considered ancient melodies evolving from nomadic music of the various tribes that inhabited what we now think of as Syria and Jordan, with the exception of Babylon, which is Iraqi.
