The banyan or bodhi tree couldn't be more appropriate. The tree that sheltered Buddha.
If a banyan tree happens to germinate in your garden in Thailand, anyone is welcome to enter your private property to worship beneath it - which is not always convenient for the owner ;) This happened to friends in Bangkok and the only solution was to approach one of the temples and offer it to the monks for relocation there at the temple. Fortunately this was done and the visits ceased. Having a bodhi tree in the garden is a nice idea but hard if you want to have some control over household security ;)
Speaking of Buddha, these two images are of the 46m Reclining Buddha at Wat Po (Wat Phra Chetupon) in Bangkok. Wat Po is part of the National Palace complex.
