On the day of the Beltaine festival a group of young Tectosages decided to go into the forest and catch the largest boar of the season, but on the way the youngest and weakest fell behind and got lost. As it started to rain he spied a dolman upon the top of a brae, so he decided to take shelter from the rain, but as he approached he noticed one of the stones had collapsed, and dead beneath the stone he found the biggest boar he'd ever seen in his life, so he decided to take it back to the oppida and become a hero. When he arrived home everyone commented at how the boar was the grandest they had ever seen... From side on that anyway. But did it really matter that the boar was so large because it was as flat as a bannock?
