Oda Nobunaga and his retainers sat in council, it was early, the dawn was just starting to break.

"I want Kiyoyasu's head on the gate of this fortress!" Oda boomed.

"Yes my lord, but first we must begin raising our army. The people are ready to fight again. They have forgotten the sourness of your fathers loss, and seek to revenge him." A retainer said softly

"They damn well better be..."

"Word has it that the Kiyoyasu are raising an army."

"Then muster ours! Immediately! We go to war!"

"I have a missive for Saito Tadatoshi in Mino, it is to be sent immeditaely."

A few moments later the Shomyo, from the high battlements of his castle watched the sun crest over the fertile plains below whispering to the wind.

"I am coming for you Kiyoyasu!"

And all Nobunaga could do was smirk and let one of his deep cackling laughs.

For the sun had risen and the skies over Mikawa, land of the Kiyoyasu were blood red...
