Nay he rather manipulate the system for his own advantage, and for his 'new found' relative Caius Valerius Flaccus."

"Haven't you found it strange that this one time friend should so quickly turn against his friend Favonius Cornelius Pola? Is it not strange that, while on the one hand Pola BEGS the senate to give him direction in a war he did not ask for, and on holy objects that have been thrust into his hands, that these men should spread scandalous rumors?"
