    What sort of flowers?

    Is it known which sorts of flowers and other things were grown in these gardens? And is there anywhere drawings of them? It all sounds so lovely, terraced gardens, irrigation channles... a little bit like ancient Egypt in fact, hehe! Imagine how much work that went into turning infertile land into gardens - but that was neccessary for their survival. The more I learn about the Azteks, the more intrigued I get - what a contrast to their sacrifical habits!
