From what I've learnt I see Alexander as more of a liberator of Egypt than a significant influencer of it's people, policies or culture, especially given the short time he spent there.

Does anyone know of any good knowledge sources to learn more about what he achieved in Egypt (besides the many Siwa stories) ?
