Singapore was like visiting the park and if you've ever been there, you'd understand. Ruled by an iron fist - gardens are neatly trimmed and watered, chewing gum is outlawed (the humidity is so thick that the gum would never harden on the streets and would stick all over everything). This is also the same place an American student was caned for keying a car.
An island of high-rise apartments, they have a law against throwing things out your apartment windows (why would you, well, you have to carry your garbage down 47 flights of stairs...*G*), since things like durian rinds have been known for hitting people in the head and causing severe injuries.
What is a durian, you ask??? See me next time...
