That's a very good point. When you are writing an RP post, you aren't just writing/reading for yourself. You have an audience to consider, so the posts, like short stories, have to move the overall plot or character development forward in an interesting fashion.

Hm... would you consider RP posts to be almost like anecdotes in a larger novel or short story?
