It seems that more people have been using the term "heroic friendship" than I thought.Yet,to the best of my knowledge the context and "pathology" of the phenomenon have not been qualified and defined in depth.I can offer this net link:Louis A Ruprecht,Jr "Homeric Wisdom and Heroic Friendship" which discusses "the rich and confusing notion of heroic friendship that inhabits and haunts the thoughts of Homer,Sophocles,Plato and Aristotle"!
I d greatly appreciate any remarks, links, information and even personal feelings on the topic and its appeal,as it is an underway project of mine in the long term!Thank you!
