    My thanks for the encouraging comments and great tips! They are filed away for future reference - I can't tell you how much they help. They can shortcut through problems like greased lightening.

    Phenom, I've taken your advice and downloaded Wings but have yet to look at it. And the bowl is now in the Create/Imported Objects section as a permanent object. Thanks for that. And saving? I have 18 versions of bowls...and bowls...and yes, you guessed it...bowls. Salad servers are next *g*

    And speaking of which...another bowl! This time I wanted to trial artificial light sources without the sun. I didn't bank on the render time which was close to 10 hours just at regular setting but then that was on the old computer. The quality is lousy - I've set it up to run a fine one as I want to see how the bowl turns out - this one has peculiar lines in it...
