I have been following the updates about the scientists quest to find more information about Mars. I have actually met one of the scientists involved in the project so I have still got my fingers crossed that it will be a success.
I really admire the guys who have put together this mission, they were on a shoestrung budget with no help from governments and have had to beg and borrow money. People laughed at them with their supposedly incredulous ideas. But that is what science is all about people who have faith in their own ability to try to find out the impossible against difficult odds.
If this project is successful as we all hope it is then it might encourage more individuals to explore more of our solar system with out having to wait on governments. Hopefully more groups of people will get together on their own "bat" to find out many of the questions that haunt us at the present day.
