I am still experiencing great difficulties getting my Nurbs models meshed and correctly imported into lightwave. The capital of the Ionic pillar simply would not import correctly. I rebuilt it numerous times but, in Lightwave, there are missing meshes or polygons sticking out of the surface in places. I think that the lofted surfaces may be converting to non-planar polygons but I am not yet sure how to test for that in Lightwave. If anyone has tips on moving models from Rhino to Lightwave, please help...

I exported the mesh to POV-Ray and, but for one out-of-place polygon, the pillar exported correctly. Once again I applied the same procedural texture to each object just to get an idea of how the column should appear.

I plan to add the leaf details in Lightwave since I am pretty sure I will NEVER get those to export correctly.

    Here is the POV-Ray rendering.
