I adore his writing, and hope that this can make it into our entrance!
A Woman's Work is Never Done
The women of antiquity
Displayed their great ability
To turn a house into a home
In places far removed from Rome.
In Athens, Egypt, Celtia,
In Babylon, Germania,
In Machu Picchu worlds away
The women made the holiday.
They cleaned their homes,
they cooked great meals,
They heeded every child's appeals.
They honored gods
and spouses, too,
And rose each day to start anew.
Is that not beautiful? And upon my effusive thanks for taking his time to write this specifically for us, this was his reply:
"You are certainly welcome. It is women who have made the world a better place for all."
