"Senenmut! Ancksunamun! Najara! Anybody! Where are you all?"

I had rushed back from the farmlet where I had found the Lady NahehAakhu,
and was trying to locate the rest of our party, who were nowhere to be found
within the palace precincts. Then MinaMina appeared from a day room. Judging
by her sleepy appearance, she had been having an afternoon doze.

"What is it, Waha? What's all the commotion about?"

"Oh it's you, MinaMina. Thank goodness! Where is everyone?"

"It's such a beautiful afternoon, that all of them have gone for a walk
along the other side of the river. They were planning on leaving Memphis
soon, and Najara thought it might be nice to have one last look at the city,
only from the opposite bank. Only it was too hot for me, so I decided to
stay behind and have a rest."

"When did they go? When will they be back?"

"How full of questions you are! They went about an hour ago. As for when
they'll be back, they didn't say. But what's all the fuss about?"

"I've just found NahehAakhu!"

MinaMina went pale, and nearly fell. I grabbed her before she hit the floor
and managed to guide her to a nearby seat.

"Are you alright,MinaMina?"

"Just some water, please."

I rushed off and fetched the old lady a vial of cool water, which she slowly
sipped as she recovered herself.

"The Lady NahehAakhu found! May all the gods be praised. All praise to...."

And then the old lady stopped and stared at me. "But you are very clever,
Waha! How did you manage this? Is she safe? Is she well? Oh praise be to all
the gods!"

And she would have gone off again, praising all the deities in the pantheon,
except that I interrupted and told her, briefly, how I had learned of
NahehAakhu's whereabouts.

"And now," I concluded, "we must find the others and decide on how best to
get NahehAakhu away from the farmlet. Quickly and soon!"
