Equality really doesn't exist. I believe it was made up by man to make everyone feel they were on the same level. But if everyone was in fact equal, as in the mathematical sense, then wouldn't that mean that everyone would be the exactly the same and there would be no individuals?

For instance, if everyone at this site were equal, then there would be no discussions because everyone would be the same and agree on all of the same things and issues. Discussions would be like arguing with yourself.

And of course we all know that when Jefferson wrote that 'All men were created equal', he really was just referring to his type of men, the elite, and not the landless or the women, and the slaves and native people were not even considered to be human. People may be similar, but I don't think that anyone is exactly equal with another.
