I sit with Moss and enjoy my second supper. No need to tell her that I have already eaten. Besides, the company is good and the mead is delicious, after drinking the sour German beer. And besides that, I have a busy day scheduled for Sönnentág. Who knows when I will next have time to just sit and talk?
Several patrons come and go while we eat. Moss quickly patches them up or gives them the appropriate remedy for their ills. After we finish the food and sip a second cup of mead, I beg to be excused. "I have a bit of coin from the Lughnasadh contests," I tell her. "I thought it would be good if I could find something for Tissa, my wife, and for the Rian." Moss agrees this is a good plan and offers to care for the kitten while I stroll the Merchants' Row. I give her my thanks and go out for a look at the other shops and tents.
