Oh, yes, llamas. That's me, my friends!
Yes, I've got some good green stinky spittle, but I hardly ever do that, you know. Mind you, I stand about human height, so if I ever do... it's in your face, man! So the Heraklia Roman one is right about that. Most llama spit on humans happens if the human tries to intermediate between two llamas that are cross with each other. Well, you know the old saying, "SPIT HAPPENS".
Mostly around humans we're mellow. Most of us are somewhat head-shy, you don't want to be patting our heads uninvited. You used to hate that when you were a kid, right? You know, when distant Uncle Fester would show up and say, hey, nice boy/girl? Pat, pat pat. Well, we really hate that. So patronizing!
You can stroke our necks, however. If we like you, we like that.
Some of us llamas even go indoors. I mean, no, we go in discrete piles outdoors (like cats, without the scratching), but some humans have strangely enough let us inside their homes. Check out this site: Charismatic Llamas for pictures to prove it!
