    SMITHSONIAN CATLIN GALLERY

    This is an exhibition of paintings by George Catlin who chronicled the life of the Native North American Indian, and did many fine portraits of individuals of various tribes.

    Catlin accompanied Lewis and Clark. This exhibition was at the Smithsonian Gallery in Washington D.C.
