Wonderful material, Nantonos! Now - a question I have never got a clear answer to. What was the relationship between Sol Invictus and Jupiter at times when Sol was worshipped a lot? I mean, was it like in "Amarna" Egypt where Amun was replaced with Aton, or rather, a sort of symbiosis hard for us to understand? I know many short comments on this, but have never expanded on the subject and it has troubled me all along.
