I also agree that there should be a human code of conduct, and it would be a wonderful world indeed is such a framework for behavior were a thing implicit and natural.

There is nothing objectionable about AW's CoC, only the fact that it is applied selectively, one could almost say, whimsically - this is not an impression, it's how it is. Some mind, some don't.

I am sure you are a good group leader, I have every reason to believe that your protestations are fair and true, and that you project the better angel in your nature onto others shouldering the same duty. But in reality, and beyond the shadow of a doubt or interpretation, the root of what is being discussed here lies in the problem of leaders, or co-leaders of groups, having extremely poor, or rather, non-existent - social skills.

There's no excuse for this, nor for the standard "if you don't like it, leave" attitude. But it's one of the whimsical things that happen around here...And people DO leave (another fact) - or dismiss any thought of contributing financially. I'm not sure that this should be dismissed as immaterial, in the long run.

Sophia, if you read this...Why not start your own AncientMysteries group??? From what I know of you, you'd be perfect.
