That in book 7 you get the feeling that you miss from the first three. This is pure speculation so please don't get upset with me folks.
I am guessing that in book 7 Harry beats Voldemort. I am also guessing that a decent amount of book 7 will deal with the aftermath of the last few years: how people react, the initial politics, what career choices the kids make ect. Book 7 is going to be more uplifting. There will be hard issues to deal with but there will be ag reat deal of happiness as well.
I can see loving the first three books for the very reasons you are discussing, that is the reason I enjoyed them so much and have re-read them more frequently then book 4 and 5.
What I hope happens is that the kids who are reading these books see that if you stick true to your beliefs and by your friends in the bad times then you will be able to make it through to the good times. Call me an idealist or an optimist (Grins).
By the way, these are the type of discussions that I know I enjoy having about books. How are people reacting to them and why. I was very happy to see your post. Thanks
