I have asked to be made a Saxon. However, I am not sure of what position in society to take. One thing I am sure of, I am a warrior by nature. So a thane, huscarle, or even a jarle would be a good position. I would like to be close to the King's court, and some power is always nice, so jarle appeals to me most. But whether it would be considered presumptuous to take such a prestegious title I am not sure.

So, put simply, I would like some suggestions to a position which I could take!
