Below is a screen shot of my sky lab settings for the haze - the mouse cursor is pointing at the settings. Have you found that you can click the 'cloud icon' in the Sky Palette near the sun and it opens up this dialog? Hope this helps.
The thing I love is being able to set base height. Somehow I feel that is the key. There are many Bryce graphics I have really enjoyed at the Bryce forum, that looked like paintings and I came to understand that the haze could be used to create part of that effect. There are some other lighting issues I want to explore to also achieve and enhance that look, but this was a good experiment.
