*Sapa takes the two kero's (beakers)
filled with chicha, that are handed to him by Coya Inca and pours
the contents of one kero on the ground*
For your return!
*From the other kero Sapa takes
a sip and then gives Coya a sip*
For your return!
Inti, Pachamama, Viracocha, Zaramama,
Ka-ata-Killa, Kon, Supay, Cocomama,
gods and spirits of nature, please
celeberate with us!
*Sapa faces the crowd*
Citizens let us now celebrate.

*The kero, filled with chicha is now passed on to everybody present.*
*Meanwhile the acllacuna's (virgins
of the Sun) make sure the bottom of the kero cannot be seen*
*Servants of Sapa Inca are walking
round to make sure everone has enough to drink and to eat* |
*the people will now go to:
The central square to meet other people, exchange experiences of the day, gossip and of course they will, according to the custom: get drunk, after all who doesn't want to enjoy a free drink?*
