The good news is that Jot is working on bringing SPQR back to Ancient Worlds. There have been some announcements and the current edition of Acta Diurna (edited by our own Mamximius Flavius) has a some general information about the return of SPQR in July and a special section on SPQR by way of a warm up.

So for those want to return to the game, be patient: it's coming.
