Bryce may remember; at AS, in conjunction with the Gens Tertia, of which I am most honored to be a member, I put together some family pages to go with our AS group page. Out of a thread at the family pages grew the Taberna Tertia, with me as the proprietor; just a place to hang out and talk. I ended up experimenting in Bryce 4 with constructing a virtual taberna, and you've seen a bit of an evolution of that idea with the Divi Augusti taberna. I am re-doing my web site, and along with that, reconstructing a new and improved (I hope!) virtual Taberna Tertia.

I have the basic structure together, with no furnishings to speak of, and am playing with some frescoes and mosaics right now. Here are some images of the status of the project right now. It's still quite rough, and of course the roof is missing so I can see what I'm doing inside! There will be a lot more detail, and some of the textures will be re-done within Vue, plus I will be doing some postwork on the textures as well.

This is based on tabernae/thermopoliums in Ostia, Herculaneum, and Pompeii. With a hefty chunk of imagination.
