Jojo, this is a nice article and it puts the Etruscans in a very high esteem. Actually, this information has been known to Etruscologists and Etruscan experts for quite some time, although it's hard to re-write history in regard of the relation Etruria-Rome or implement a different view to this relation into a large public. Actually, learning and studying the Etruscans more and more, leads to the assumption that Rome was, basically, an Etruscan city as far as its cultural, archaic architectural, religious and politic organisation was concerned (and that, to a city society, is quite an important lot...). If you and the other members writing in this thread do not mind, I would like to link this article of yours to one of the boards in ETRVRIA, to make it easily accessible and readable for the members of this group as well..
