Having bathed, removing the grime of travel, I lounge in the Library, watching Eutere as she sits prettily, reading some scrolls from the palace collection. Louisa enters, announcing plans to visit the islands in her domain, and would we care to accompany her.
I am a wanderer, and the thought of such a journey, exploring each exotic locale, with such alluring women as shipmates, appeals to my male imagination. After all, nothing ventured, nothing gained; and I do wish to see Lesbos. The weather is warm, and the seas calm. I am eager to discover what the fates have in store.
"Louisa, your offer is accepted. Tell me, when do we depart?"
