I had just arrived moments earlier and found a place by the fire.
I was unaware that the Subura was to turn into a curtain of rain today when I sent a message to Atticus to meet me here, for news on that runaway slave he had been contracted to find.
I saw him come running in looking a little worse for the wear, and begin to look over the clientele. I started to motion to him, when his eyes stopped dead on the four females at the table to my left. I could tell by the look on his face, what he was thinking. I hope he remembers how the last time his eye started to wander, his wife took it none to kindly, and nearly skewered him with the cooking knife. We shall see.
