*sniff sniff* I was hoping for a miraculous comeback. While I was working at the health food place one of my managers was talking about her black thumb and her theory that when she gets a plant it gets sick just so it can go to her mom's house.

Anyway, we continued on about the herbage and how her mom only grows things that are tall, dangerous and poisonous. Or something to that effect. How we got to the topic of comfrey escapes me, but I asked if I could get a seedling from her.

I did and I killed it! *sob* I don't know how! I gave it a 8" pot to start it out, nice potting soil. Then the leaves got all crunchy and fell off the base. There was hope as it put out an odd little leaf in the middle, but it turned brown. I hoped it'd come back that I maybe I hadn't killed the roots so I left it alone! *sob* It didn't come back *sniffles* I really wanted a big dangerous plant!
