Ludi Romani Games Sept 11th to the 30th /Catulus the Poet

I Catulus the Poet wish to announce the Ludi Romani presented by Senior Curule Caius Domitius Cornelius during Quintilius et Sextilus (Sept 11-30th). My Lord wishes to present to the people of Roma a theater play that presents Roma victories over Carthage to remind the people that victory doesn’t always come easy. A two part contest: One part to this event is a contest for those wishing to write a play about Roma and the great battle in Asia of the past year and the Pirates of Sardinia et Corsica. An epic poem of length would be consider as an entrant. (1st place 2500D, 2nd 1000D, 3rd through 5th 500D) The second part will be a poem contest and we will keep it light and a subject to all Romans, The topic will be LOVE or lust, but dune in good taste. (1st place 2500D and 2nd through 5th 500D)

Now for the announcement all have been waiting for. GAMES:
Games times: Entrants to Chariot races and Gladiatorial Games Sep 16th to 21st. Contests 22nd through 27th.
Plays and poems will accepted from the 20th to 30th, prizes awarded after judging.
Raffle tickets will be sold for one 5S each and a prize of 1500D will be awarded as follows: 1st 500D, 2nd through 6th, 100D, 7th through 16th will be 50D. Any money raised will go to the Senatus for the war against the Germania.
Chariot races: Racer will enter at there own expense as well as housing cost.
Gladiatorial Games: My Lord will pay for the entrants for first two Gladiators (6000D RP No NPC) One exception to that requirement is Appius Terentius first 6 entrants will be paid for 18,000 D, repayment of a debt in the last games. Housing costs will be each person’s responsibility. My Lord will enter 12 Gladiators, 10 novus and 2 premiums.
