Demetrios, I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

Jack seems to have been a real trooper right till the very end - but it's not the end, is it. *S* He'll always be with you and the love you and Jack and your family shared, will not diminish. It's the bravest thing in the world to hold a loved one as they die - but Jack's heart would have been so full of love for your family and as you said, because he was so stubborn, he'll remain stubborn in retaining his love for you all.
