The sun was bearing down almost burning so I went to the stream to wet my head and slake a dry thirst, most likely the result of the hangover. Though I didnt feel too bad. I'd been sweating it out for hours and all I needed was a few minutes till I was back doing it again. I was fit and strong in the prime of manhood and such labour didnt wear easily on the body.
Crouching down at the water's edge splashing water over my head and neck, I had a good long drink of the clear spring waters then looked up. Overhead a white falcon glided, playing with the warm thermals. Other birds hopped or flew here and there amongst the trees ever engaged in their endless insane chatter. These were good omens promising quickness, agility and grace. That boded well for getting the building out of the way, so I upped to it and returned back to the task at hand.
