LOL..don't tell my dogs they can't eat Grapes or there will be a riot. They pull them off the grape vines. They also dig up the garlic bulbs and eat them. They pull the capsicums off the plants and sometimes eat the plants too.
They catch small and sometimes large birds and eat them, and sometimes bring them inside to share with the obviously inadequate non hunting humans. (I think they love me).

On a more serious side, dogs do need a balanced diet. Our food is not generally what a dog should eat. If your into raw feeding then something along the BARF diet would be something to investigate. Otherwise a good quality dry food with meat as a flavouring is something that most dog breeders swear by.
