When Caius Aemilius finally reached the city of Appolonia, he found the once great city greatly diminished. Of all of the rebel cities, Appolonia was the only one that had been taken by Trahale through force of arms. It showed. The once great city walls were in pieces, and the population greatly reduced. Caius Aemilius had made short work of installing a subordinate in the city with a small garrison, and then turned back around, heading back toward Lissus.

Appolonia is to be garrisoned by four cohorts of soldiers who will assist in the reconstruction of the city.
