    Indeed as you mentioned the Plotinus' translation was published in the late years of the 18th century - the actual publication's date is unknown. He is the first who generated the term as Marsilio did not use the term 'neoplatonism' in his 'Platonic Philosophy' (1492) but rather he is using the term 'platonism - platonic' etc.
