"...surely that ain't too much to ask for?" Guess who 'recommended' that golden rule, not long ago, on another thread here on the Roman board! Or was it intended only for other people???

If that Archeologist (Coarelli ) was 6 years old or maybe 9, when il Duce was executed, is after all of minor importance, but the serious thing is that you continue to falsify or/and wipe out the events of two of the most crucial and agonizing years of Modern Italian History. Mussolini did certainly NOT die in 1943, as you say! He was shot by a Partisan on April 28th 1945. "If you do not know these elementary facts of history..." (sic!- another quotation!)

I read with interest your piece of autobiography, and of course you are right when asserting that a 6/7/8 year old KID is not capable of having a full-fledged understanding of the political milieu in which he is immersed. But who did ever pretend that this should be the case, and now I come back to your commentary on Coarelli and il Fascismo.

I could simply choose to ignore your preposterous, unfounded assumptions, but at the end of your article you come very close to defamation. What do you mean? Prof.Coarelli should somehow have invented the impact Fascism had on his generation, his own life and career, and, not least, on Archeology itself in order to "muscle in" for monetary gain !

Take the trouble, PLEASE, to read the AIAC-interview! Use, if you need it, for instance this on-line translator, surprisingly good, I think.
